Provider readiness

Training & Certification for responsible, repeatable clinical use.

The training pathway prepares qualified providers to understand the device, screen patients, fit and sanitize components, select parameters, monitor response, and document care responsibly.

Eligibility, supervision, and permitted use depend on professional credentials, competence, facility policy, and applicable law.

Who training is for

Match education to role and responsibility.

Licensed clinicians receive clinical implementation training; clinic leaders prepare governance and quality systems; support staff learn appropriate workflow, sanitation, inventory, scheduling, and escalation; and referral partners receive orientation on referral, evidence, scope, and regulatory boundaries.

Curriculum

Nine modules—from clinical foundations to provider certification.

Each protected module provides structured lessons and a required assessment. Completing all nine online modules establishes knowledge readiness for the separate practical competency review and final certification process.

01

Module 1 — Clinical Foundations and Facial Function

Facial-function rationale, measurable rehabilitation, clinical goals, provider responsibilities, and evidence boundaries.

02

Module 2 — Therapeutic Exercise and Motor-Learning Framework

Control before force, movement quality, neuromuscular re-education, motor learning, progression, and Isokinetic-Style Cadence Training.

03

Module 3 — Device Architecture, Materials, and Inspection

Device components, material families, force transmission, inspection schedules, maintenance, storage, and stop-use criteria.

04

Module 4 — Orientation, Placement, Alignment, and Screening

Four working axes, neutral position, pre-placement screening, standardized placement, alignment, and troubleshooting.

05

Module 5 — Directional Training and Supported Exercise Modes

Horizontal, vertical, diagonal, and combined patterns with isometric, isotonic, concentric, eccentric, cadence, endurance, and functional training.

06

Module 6 — Safety, Precautions, Compensation, and Stopping Criteria

Clinical precautions, contraindications, compensatory movement, fatigue, synkinesis, adverse responses, and stopping decisions.

07

Module 7 — Resistance Dosing, Progression, and Measurement

Lowest effective demand, dosage variables, criteria-based progression and regression, measurement, and response tracking.

08

Module 8 — Clinical Implementation, Documentation, and Quality Assurance

Evaluation-to-reassessment workflow, treatment documentation, home-program controls, team readiness, and quality systems.

09

Module 9 — Practical Clinical Competency and Provider Certification

Knowledge readiness for device setup, screening, clinical reasoning, instruction, documentation, and the authorized practical review process.

Applied learning

Practice the complete clinical workflow.

Training connects product knowledge to the provider's actual responsibilities—from the first screening decision through patient instruction, progress review, and escalation.

  • Inspect and assemble the correct components
  • Screen candidacy, precautions, and clearance needs
  • Verify fit, alignment, comfort, and tissue response
  • Select resistance, movement, dosage, rest, and progression
  • Teach cleaning, storage, home-use limits, and stopping criteria
  • Document parameters, tolerance, response, and follow-up

Competency pathway

Modules 1–9 → assessments → practical competency review → certification.

Online curriculum completion confirms knowledge readiness. Final certification is documented only after the required assessments and authorized practical competency process are completed.

  1. 1

    Complete Modules 1–9

Work through every protected lesson covering clinical foundations, device use, safety, dosing, implementation, and certification readiness.

  2. 2

    Pass the required assessments

Complete the scored assessment at the end of each module and meet the program's passing requirement.

  3. 3

    Request practical competency review

After all nine modules are passed, submit the portal request for authorized practical review.

  4. 4

    Demonstrate practical competency

Show safe inspection, assembly, placement, clinical reasoning, patient instruction, documentation, and stopping decisions.

  5. 5

    Receive final certification

Certification is issued only after the authorized reviewer approves the practical competency record and required sign-off.

  6. 6

    Maintain readiness

Use updated materials, complete required refreshers, and repeat competency review when protocols or device components change.

Implementation resources

Turn training into a repeatable clinic process.

Structured tools help clinicians apply the same safety, fitting, treatment, documentation, and quality standards across the care pathway.

01

Screening checklist

Prompts for history, precautions, clearance, dental and tissue status, recovery stage, and escalation.

02

Fitting checklist

A consistent sequence for inspection, assembly, fit, alignment, comfort, insertion, removal, and teach-back.

03

Treatment worksheet

Fields for movement, position, resistance, dosage, rest, cueing, assistance, tolerance, and response.

04

Progress review

Comparable measures, functional progress, adherence, symptoms, goal status, and rationale for modified or continued care.

05

Home-program guide

Patient-facing setup, prescribed parameters, cleaning, storage, stopping rules, and clinic contact instructions.

06

Quality and incident tools

Processes for product concerns, adverse responses, staff questions, retraining, and corrective action.
